Hi, I'm Rob. I'm passionate about knowledge, evidence and learning in international development and humanitarian action.
I'm currently working with Save the Children International as Knowledge Officer within the Programme Quality and Impact Unit in London. Prior to this, I worked with Practical Action as their Knowledge and Learning Officer and Energy Access Community of Practice Coordinator.
I'm a graduate of the Centre for Development and Emergency Practice (CENDEP) at Oxford Brookes University. I have seven years professional experience focussing on communications and operations. Several of these have been based abroad, including roles in Nepal and Madagascar focussing on international development and humanitarian action. I'm particularly passionate about response localisation and knowledge management for local and national NGOs in fragile and conflict-affected states, which formed the basis of my master's thesis.
